ithabiso Sandra Ngwenya (a.k.a. KittyKits Ngilocy) was born in December 1988 in Zimbabwe in the City Of Kings Bulawayo and bred in the small border town of Plumtree. She is a product of the acclaimed mission school Empandeni High School. She is a writer, poet, teacher and a soccer coach who finds solace in expressing herself through her writings. Currently, she is a student at the University of South Africa pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Education. Her first book is "Thorns of a Rose", a novel describing the plight of a girl sold as a child bride at the age of 17 set in rural South Africa in the 1990's.
