Kuhlula Ngobeni was born in June 1998. He lives in Nkowankowa Section D and is schooling at Bankuna Secondary School. He lives with his adopting mother and a twin brother. He believes that his calling is to become an author. He attends the Tabernacle of Praise and Grace Church. Kuhlula started writing in 2016, but did not realize initially how much his writing was helping people. When people said that they enjoyed his funny messages, he decided to write his first book. His book describes his early upbringing after his parents died. He was raised in extreme poverty by a cousin who was scarcely older than Kuhlula. The title, Understanding Life, provides a glimpse at how acceptance of what has happened is a valuable lesson in coping with adversity.
